Teens Only Ask a Question Parents Resources

I didn't have intercourse with my boyfriend... but I'm really worried because both of us were wearing just underwear and he had an ejaculation. Is there any probability to get pregnant because of this?

Dear Monica,

Anytime semen (cum) enters into the vagina, a pregnancy and/or sexually transmitted infection may occur. But in answer to your question, specifically, while it may be possible semen may have entered into your vagina, it is not likely.

We would suggest that you have a supply of condoms with you (you don't necessarily need to let you partner know) just in case what starts out as "boning" or "outercourse" turns into intercourse. It only takes once for a person to experience an unplanned pregnancy or sexually transmitted infection. Always be prepared - always protect yourself - no one else will.
