Dear AW,

The answer is ABSOLUTELY!

This is called the "withdrawal" or "pull-out" method and is not effective against unplanned pregnancy or STI prevention.

Long before a male ejaculates, he releases a pre-lubricating fluid that he (or his partner) cannot feel coming out. This fluid can contain sperm and of course any STI he may be infected with.

Even if he "pulls-out" before he ejaculates, that pre-lubricating fluid is inside the vagina and a pregnancy and/or STI can occur.
