If a girl is on birth control, can her sexual partner cum inside her without worrying about an unplanned pregnancy?

Dear Sara,

When birth control pills are used correctly, they offer the couple nearly 99% effectiveness against unplanned pregnancy. BC pills offer no protections against sexually transmitted infections, however.

So to answer your question, if your partner and you have been checked for STIs, are monogamous (don't have sex with anyone else while you are a couple), then you do not need to worry about STIs or unplanned pregnancies. That is the big benefit of being responsible - less to worry about, less stress, more time to be happy without worrying.
