  If a girl has just finished getting her period, is it less likely that she will get pregnant?

Any time unprotected intercourse takes place, a pregnancy can occur. According to a text book menstrual cycle, a female is less likely to ovulate (produce an egg) while she is menstruating or just after she finishes her menstruation. The problem is that people are not text books.
