No, not necessarily. A female, especially a young female, can have menstrual cycles where she can ovulate (release an egg) close to when she has her period. Although it is less likely she is pregnant, there is still the possibility.

You also did not mention the possibility of a sexually transmitted disease (STD) - anytime you don't use a condom, an infection is possible. Over one million young people experience unplanned pregnancies each year. Over 3.75 million young people experience a sexually transmitted infection each year. It is best to plan and protect yourself now, rather than be a statistic later.
